Galaena Nebula by Regulus36 Galaena Nebula by Regulus36
I made this one during a short break from the projects I'm working on.

~3 or 4 hours (planets were already made)

Edit: fixed a couple of little things

Regulus this is a GREAT picture.. I own a youtube channel that promotes music and digital concept art. Will you provide me with a large version of this image?? I will source the heck out of you in return.. Ive been looking for an image like this for longer than you can imagine -_-

Man, a nebula painting tutorial would be awesome, I have a tablet, but I have no idea how to do stuff like this, this is just really impressive.

Try googling 'nebula tutorial deviantart' and see what you find ;) it would be hard for me to make a tutorial since i don't really follow any particular method anymore, it just sort of happens :D

Like it! I always wondered how can you make such sharp images like this

Thanks! A lot of the sharpness is from working at really large resolutions, my normal working res is 4000x3000. I didn't use a sharpen filter, I don't think [I don't usually] ... I just tend to resize stuff smaller to cram in the details.
